Bag
So, I saw on this website about how to make bags out of old t-shirts, and I've been wanting to make a bag to put my library books in, and this was the perfect answer! So, tonight after enrichment I did it! It only took 20 minutes (I put a pocket in it too for the list of books, and for my library card), and it is so awesome! The shirt I used isn't that big, but it's the perfect size to put books in! I have a few other old shirts I might make into bags for the grocery store. I was worried about the strength or how much you could fit in it, but it's awesome. How cool!

Baby Update
Catching Up
I haven't been able to write a in a good amount of time, so now I'm catching up!
We had Porter's baby blessing in Springville, UT at Jordan's Grandma Lynn's house. It was great. So many people came, including the Geers from New York who surprised us! Jordan did a great job with the blessing. The things that were said in the blessing were all things we hope for our children--being able to discern the difference between good and evil, serving a full-time mission so he could return and marry his eternal companion in the temple, going to his family for support, and things like that. It was nice, and it was great to have so many people come.
It was the first time Grandma and Grandpa Mayfield, Grandma Lynn, and Grandma and Grandpa Bloxham had every seen Porter, and of course, they just loved him.
A week later was my birthday! I was super sick, but it was a fun birthday anyway. Jordan made me a really good omelet, with lots of cheese, onion, and chicken. I had gotten an outfit with Christmas money I got from Aunt Theresa that I planned on wearing that day to church, but being sick I didn't go. Jordan bought me a router (not a woodworking router, a computer router), and at the beginning I didn't really get it, but after we got it set up, I realized how flippin awesome it is to go around the house while still connected to the internet. He also gave me a coupon for a pair of black shoes "guilt free." I found a pair from Roxy at Famous Footwear that look like this. I really like them. Our friends Dallin and Courtney Sauser came over and brought me Baby Mama and a Dr. Seuss book. We watched Baby Mama that night--loooove it.
Two weeks later it was Jordan's birthday! I was super excited about his presents which were a phone (he uses the brown cover), an alarm clock to put his ipod in, and a pair of shoes that didn't fit him, and that I think he'll take back. I made him a crawfish dinner and I made an ice cream cake with chocolate brownie ice cream and put ground up thin mints around in it. It was fun, and it was great to be able to celebrate Jordan being born!
