Again with the 25 Things update...I started on Codex and I'm going to take it off the list because it's kind of scandalous.  I'm going to look up the rest of the Lev Grossman books to see if the rest of them are scandalous also, because I might be replacing a lot of them if they are...

This is also a pretty good idea, especially if you get bored easily with the look of your home. Found at Design Mom, but it's from IKEA's blog.

These are so fun, and would be sooooooo comfortable (especially at this point in the pregnancy...) Also via Design Mom, but from Two New York.

Update on the My 25 Things, I don't really know what book to delete from my list, but I've added Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild to my list of books.  I saw it at the library (was very surprised how thick it was..I always thought the "shoe books" were picture books...) (also, was waiting for Codex to come in through interlibrary loan) and jumped at it...but sometimes those books are soooo boring (sometimes I feel that way about reading Little Women).  I opened it up, and it had the same font as Betsy Tacy & Tib which books I aDORE, so I snatched it up and it has been a wonderful read!  Sometimes I feel like some more modern books have to have a "shock" factor in it in order for people to think it's interesting but that is just not my style!  This book is whimsical & romantic (not in a boy-girl sort of way, but the idealized form of reality sort of way [and who doesn't want to live in that sort of world]), and although I'm not done it has been thoroughly enjoyable!  Codex (by Lev Grossman) came in today, so that'll be up next!  p.s. 4 more school days left!

I really like these muted colors.  via Knack

We're discussing building a bench for under our windowsill that would have space for baskets for P's toys.  It would be much better than how they are now (even though I built a rad rad rad toy bin...it's a little rough (that is a LITERAL rough) around the edges, so we think something a little safer and more hidden would be better.  Via The Sleepy Time Gal

It's kinda hippy...I know, but my plan is to make one for me and one for E.  They're just so whimsical!  Via Kinderpendent

If I didn't cringe every time I saw this on all of our plastic cups, I would probably enjoy it more.  It is a fun concept, though.  Via SwissMiss

I don't know how practical this is, but I think about it all the time!  It's a bed & a coffee table!  How genius!  Via SwissMiss

The bright colors of summer have arrived (even if summer itself hasn't actually arrived), and I'm loving it!  Love this collection via The Red Otter Shop!

I've been pretty bad at keeping up with this the last week or so.  School's kicking my trash, but I just finished writing up the review packet for our last chapter test, and I'm avoiding doing the review packet for the final (which I also need to do tonight), so you get some more details (there's no way I'm going to be able to show you all I wanted to this month...I didn't know it was the 24th already!).

I might just make these NOW.  We have a gynormous window that I don't want to buy a window dressing for because we probably won't have another house with a window this big in it, but I could definitely get some fabric, some shower curtain rings, and make this and still have it look wonderful.  What a rad idea--and it looks super classy.

Please, please, PLEASE, go look at every single image on Interior Alchemy--it's a GORgeous tumblr that I just can't get enough of.

I think of this sink, often.  Also Interior Alchemy.

Soooooo pretty!  I don't know if the image above is a reflection of what's across from the mirror (like a view of the ceiling...please be yes, and that the ceiling is turquoise) or if it's a framed painting/something wonderful.  Found at The Handmade Home, but it isn't original to that...but I couldn't really find where it WAS from.

Such a pretty, and yet super different, outside party set up.  You can see the cake on the left, and the food on the right.  It's supposed to be a much more casual "sweet station" that you see at so many parties right now, and I just love it!  Via She Paperie

I LOVE these!  I am obSESSed with our flatware (they're super classy [to me] and super heavy duty), and I would love to display them like this instead of having them hide in a drawer!  I don't know if this is where these pots are from, but they have some for $4 at Home Depot that were AWEsome, but I couldn't figure out what I'd do with them, so I didn't buy them.  Dream.

A La Mode Magazine!

My friend Madelyn just came out with a magazine, A La Mode (meaning "of the fashion"), and it is RAD!  There are lots of patterns, recipes, and so many other things so check it out!  If you want the patterns that are inside you can order a physical copy of the magazine (which is super cheap, anyway), so go take a look!

I saw on Tea Rose Home that there was a magazine she was in that was called A La Mode and I was so stressed someone had taken Madelyn's name idea, but then it was HER!  How cool!  Great job Madelyn!
